Arcadia opens Founding Capital Round with $2M raise from new city pioneers.
Arcadia has opened its Founding Capital Round with a $2M raise from Balaji Srinivasan, Shervin Pishevar (Sherpa Capital), and Patri Friedman (Pronomos Ventures) to accelerate our vision for the world’s next creative capital, located in Puerto Rico.
Together, these leaders bring a deep history of building at the intersection of technology, governance, and new city models. Balaji Srinivasan is the founder of The Network State, a growing movement for digitally-coordinated communities building toward real-world governance and physical settlements. He served as CTO of Coinbase, cofounded 21.co/Earn.com, and has funded global experiments in digital governance, startup societies, and next-generation city models.
Shervin Pishevar has supported some of the most influential founders of the past decade, helping scale companies that changed entire industries. Patri has spent years developing the modern charter-city ecosystem and creating practical frameworks for innovative governance. Their combined experience forms a coherent, strategic foundation for Arcadia’s next chapter.
